Stock 1400 (418 Miles 95 deg. 6:10pm 07/24/09)
151.8 hp all we wanted was a baseline number to start. keep in mind this is a dynodynamics all wheel drive with load dyno the drum alone is 600+ lbs. we are happy with these stock numbers.

didn't have time for the '06 instead I took on the task of swapping the wheels from the '06 to the '09, but I will get it up on the dyno before it sells.
one interesting thing with the 1400 it seems to run very consistent.
So the overall fly removal doesn't show much gain however the low end throttle responds is night and day difference. One thing I should mention is we did all the dyno runs in 4th gear I believe if we did a 2nd or 3rd gear pull we would have seen tremendous differences after removing the flys. the Area P are sweet, the sound isn't over kill and give a true race inspired feeling while driving.
One thing I should also bring up the power commander V is just like the PCIII they do work for the 1400's they just dont say it on the PC website when I ordered I told them exactly what my mod are and they shipped preprogramed I will add the O2 option next week and see if that help any _________________ "OUT TO LUNCH" and not coming back. |

Do you know the technical differences between the Power Commander V and the III? Do you have any back fire or popping during deacceleration wth your current mods? _________________ 2007 T-Rex 1400R - BMW Laguna Seca Blue -Turbo Powered

I am getting small amounts of popn but not much... I was told by the guy I purchased the Power Commander V it the same just a different box and can except the O2 sensor for auto tune. they loaded the same generic flash for the PC V with my mods and it worked fine. keep in mind when I spoke to PC directly they said they only say its for the 09 up for support reasons. I will have the O2 bung welded in this week and let you know how it works by the way the dyno is up and running if you need to come and tune just let us know when? but we do not have a wideband set-up right now still waiting for a new one from dyno dynamics. _________________ "OUT TO LUNCH" and not coming back. |
