Hello To All,
I'm a new guy to the T-REX Forum. I'm 36 and retired. My body is 72 so that's how retired at 36. I've been active in athletic activities and life and plan to continue the active lifestyle forever. Ya got to have plan. I'm concentrating on activities that can be enjoyed while sitting down. Sailing is one. Driving a T-REX type reverse trike may be another. So far I've only seen one in pictures. If they are as much fun to drive as they appear to be reverse trikes may be for me.
My research has begun. I joined this board and several others. I need to answer several questions:
Can I fit in one?
Can I drive it comfortably?
What are the pros and cons of the replicas?
Why is the Enzo half the price of the T-REX?
And so on.
I've been in touch with Wayne and plan to visit him soon. I'll likely go to Austin, TX and visit the Enzo builders as well as visit the Campagna facility in Canada.
If any of you are so inclined I'd appreciate visiting you to sit in your T-REX to see it fits comfortably. If it doesn't then I guess I'll have to try something else. I hope it fits because it looks like a great ride. I come from sports cars so I like fast and low.
Regards,
Richard Cashore

1 Yes you will fit
2 Yes you will be comfortable
3 The only if any pro for the reps is they are cheaper in more ways than one and I would guess a con would be how long will they be around?
4 Why is the Enzo half price see #3 Why is Walmart coke acola cheaper than the real coke acola ?
5 Once you drive a Rex you'll be getting rid of that blow boat!
6 Once you drive it you WILL buy it!
All this is coming from one that has owned one for over 12yrs and over 50k miles, have met all 3 different company owners, been to all factory's.
You're only about 130 miles from me, come check it out. |

Hey thanks twn454,
I'll be in Florida 22 Feb. to about 10 March. My schedule is quite flexible being I'm retired so I'll email you when I return to see when you might be available to get together. I'll be in contact with my e-mail wile I'm traveling. Sounds like you have reverse trike experience that will be a big help to me in my adventure of exploring the T-REX culture.
Regards,
Richard Cashore

Stunts,
What is in Daytona Beach that attracts your attention? You mentioned 7-16th.
Is that March 7-16 ? Is it a T-REX convention?

Thanks Wayne,
I'll check it out on-line. The logistics likely won't work out for us this year.
