I have gas coming out the small air intake on top. Any idea why it is doing that or how to stop it? It ends up dripping right now me.

total guess but maybe stuck fuel float in the carb that tube does go to the carbs

It sat for about a month in the shop (broken shifter). I was told that I should replace the air filter. Its a 2003 1200 and I could not find part numbers on the forms. I could only find it for the 1400's.

Thanks, just ordered a new air filter. As for the float I have no idea how to fix that. Checked out the manual and did not see anything about it.

Float is located in the bottom of your carbs. Best bet is to have the carbs cleaned and synchronised.
