The base is aluminium and cover his fiberglass. Total weight of the trailer is 440 pounds. This trailer has been fully tested,(more then 150 000 miles ) it s been on the road since 2004. With the T-rex inside I am pulling it with a WV Jetta tdi, It s low and light you dont need a big truck in the front. Total weight with a T-rex be around 1500 pounds. It s a custom built trailer. It could be done with a steel base if you plan to pull it with a truck. One more thing , you could expect has many questions about the trailer then you do about your T-rex....  |

how much do they cost? or do you have build plans?

| I could make the plan ,for a do it youself for the base. But then the cover,is quiet big for shipping !!!!!!!! It s easier to ship while pulling it.. Cost with the aluminium base and electric brake is 6 k. I known it s not cheap, but the cover his very expensive. |

lol I used my 24ft enclosed race trailer. went all the way to florida with 3 bikes and my trex for bike week 2009. but I use the traielr for racing. I dont need to buy another trailer just for the trex. it rarely goes anywhere so no biggie on 1 trip with a big ass trailer with almost nothing in it.
