working a deal out on a 2007 Trex that is highly modded and workedup and needs some TLC put into it.
I have some questions!
this thing is a built motor and turbo'd intercooled, ect ect
the guy is telling me it needs a transmission. It was on the dyno and stripped the trans gears. hense why I am buying it.
can you guys fill me in and give me some help here.
How hard is the trans to rebuild? cost? can I upgrade the gears? any how too's?

Rebuild trans: Get a cryo treated undercut billet transmission from R&D. Last trans I purchased was $2800 (for a busa motor)
Yes you can upgrade the gears.
Just open your wallet, get the motor out, call R&D and drop your motor off at any competent bike shop

your a week late 
R@D got the trans last week. they are cryotreating it and undercutting the gears. NO billiet thats stupid prices. it will survive a lot longer with me as the new owner.

And stay on low boost...........those 14 motors don't like the hair dryer......

If you stay below 350 hp at the wheel, and don't beat on it, the non-billet gears will be fine.

trans is going to be here next week. going back together now. had it cryo treated and all the other mods to it. its gonna be teardown time soon!!
