The 3-wheelers...
Damn these people always getting in the way of my pictures...
All I know is that this thing has a Citroën engine...
The guy just restored it and was the first time out. Neat ride!
The Customized Scorpio (BWM Engine)...
Pretty Hot!...No I mean the lady on the left!
And it's got every f'n gizmo know to man...
...and damn nice steering wheel!
Now the older Hungarian gentleman that owned this thing was no joke! I think we all wanted to kiss his feet...
This is the ACTIVE suspension that the guy made himself. (Vehicle leans while turning) He was very happy to demonstrate it for us! He also fabricated the wings out of carbon fiber. And get this - he didn't like the wheels that came with the thing, so he made those himself also out of solid blocks of aluminum. HE MADE HIS OWN F'N WHEELS! If that is not enough, he drove to the four corners of the country in 96 hours. That was over 6500 miles! He said he could go 600 miles with one fill-up on the expanded fuel tank he added. Of course, he had a great photo album documenting all of this stuff. Hopefully we will meet up with him again and ride.
Oh and Happy New Year! We are looking forward to more rides in 2011!
