Hey all,
as I buy all the goodies I need for my new t-rex, I figured I would ask the group to share any hints. This also should make it easier for newbies (like myself) to look up on the forum without having to ask again.
What do you all use for chain lube?
I was looking at getting:
1. A Grunge Brush for cleaning ($10)
2. Chain Clean Spray from motorex ($10)
3. PJ-1 Blue (saw it recommended somewhere) ($11)
figured this would make for a good starter kit to keep my chain purdy. Please comment if you disagree with something, or have something to add. |

I use dupont Teflon dry wax lubricant:
Lowes carries this >$5. One can will last a long time.
Dries very fast. You can lube the chain, and ride in 5 minutes.
It doesn't take a lot to lube the chain, and it is somewhat self cleaning. You don't need to clean/scrub the chain very often. _________________ 2010 White/Silver 14RR
