Anybody have any of the Aero3S body parts? I'm wondering about overall quality and fit/finish; and I'm also concerned about weight issues.

The main body components are available in fiberglass (Stage 3 is $13,995) or carbon fiber (Stage 3 is... cough... $29,995). Does anyone know the weight of each? Is their carbon the "real-deal" autoclave pre-impregnated stuff or just a lower-grade mix with fiberglass? For $30k, it should come straight from McLaren or NASA! Lol.

I'd like to get some feedback before I call them, if possible. Thanx all.

If you are interested in the kit, go through Wayne. You will save a few $$$$$

Agreed that the Aero styling is incredible. If quality varies, is it an installation/fitment issue, then?

Have you seen a full carbon-bodied version? If it's good high-end CF, the weight gain should be negligible over the base bike. A full clearcoat CF body with exposed weave would be beyond gorgeous.

Thanx for the info.

The good thing about a full Aero3S kit is it allows you to extend your riding season in colder climate conditions. The bad part is hot summer days.

We have one here in Southern California. It is a show stopper. To help relieve some of the heat in the cockpit, Dirtyrice removed the rear quarter panel windows in order to improve air circulation.

Dirtyrice has the full fiberglass kit. I am sure you could PM and get his opinion on all the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Just my $.02 worth.
