you are right it is a great deal just not interested in a turbo or nitrous, prolly worth 37k but out of all honesty its kinda a dying market for a t-rex not alot of people out there that can afford them right now so its killing the resale value. If i lived in cali it would be a whole different story i would have already had it.

Welcome to our forum Murphy. Take your time and research the T-rex a little more before you buy one. There are very very few that sell for less than 30K and more than likely there is a reason why they sell that cheap. Either the seller needs cash quick, its been wrecked, or it has some sort of issues. Like every other toy there are a few out there that sell cheap for some reason but that doesn`t make it a "dying market".
Eric's bike is not a daily driver but he is nutz for selling it for only 30K. You would have to see it in person and go for a ride to understand. If you have never been in a T-rex you should show up at Deals Gap from May 2 thru 6 and I will take you for a ride. Once you have experienced the thrill you will be able to justify the $$$$. Keep looking but be carefull of the "Great Deals".

murphy - first off is your avatar pic a hairy motorcycle? classic LOL!

Here is the deal I have one of the if not the craziest 1200's your going to find, there is one other guy that has done close to the same motor work and turbo but didn't follow up with the all the goodies. some say I shot myself in the ass for posting at 30k plus I have talked many people out of buying my Rex - but here is the deal I have a very unusual monster it runs and drives like no other, however the only down side is I wouldn't want to be stuck in traffic and this only has to do with the idle which creeps from 700-1800 rpm because of the wild ass cam the bike runs great... I want you to know I have ridden in traffic with no problems but its not fun you need to really pay attention so you don't stall.
the reason I priced my Rex at 30k is I wanted whoever buys it not to be stuck turbo'd if they didn't want it at 30k you could still put this Rex back to stock and be in the same price market as buying a Rex at 33-35k - I hope this put some light on this topic...
BTW I would like to welcome you to TROA.NET you will find true friends and family here and more T-Rex info then you will ever need to know but most important if there is info you cant find here you will find many owners who have been in the same situation you may find your self in one day.
Take your time buying a Rex and the right Rex will show up.
I will say from experience that time plays a huge part in owning a Rex ask
MUGGZ
ViperSSS
and Mellowcmb
all 3 of these owners waited and found the perfect Rex to fit there style and price.
good luck! if you ever have questions feel free to ask them here or call me.

Sorry for typos and run-ons I am on my iPhone

yea its fury, an easy fix from wrecking every weekend at shows..lol. There is no doubt that yours is the best deal out there. I have researched too many hours on trying to find one of these things, just the hole turbo thing is alittle much for me. I got a great price to ship from cali to ohio now just gotta talk myself into it..
