while driving at around 5,000 rpm rex is bucking like crazy. Most notable on highway in 6th gear. I do not know where to begin looking. I have new plugs in it so do not think it is that. Any ideas would be great. |

Check the small clear tube from the ram air to the carbs and check to see if the black plastic piece that it goes to is cracked. _________________ X-treme-toyz.net

this tube appears to be fine, but I do hear back firing coming from that side ever once in a while when down shifting. The tube seems very short. How do you replace this tube? Where do you get it from?
My rex is an 03 non fuel injected. |

It's just a clear piece of hose home depot has it i'm sure... or even a pool supply store might be able to sell you something that small. |

I just had one of my carb sync port covers crack and come
off. Thought I had bad gas, ran like sheet.
Take a visual of them between the carb and manifold, ya
just never know.
