I stopped at a store in a town about 50 miles from here. A guy that only had one tooth in front (that I could see) asks me, "is that your car".

I nod yes - wanting to say that it is not a car - but I didn't.

Then he says, "it's made in Canada, right?".

Now I start to think that this guy may know something. As you folks know, most people don't know what it is, and start talking about other 3-wheelers and such.

He asks me, "have you considered strengthening the front end?"

This catches me by surprise, so I say, "No, I haven't. Why would I need to strengthen the front end"

Then he goes into a story about a black guy up in Fort Worth that hit a speed bump with one and he bent the front end all up. And he continues to tell me that there is only thin sheet metal holding that front together. (As if I don't know what is under the nose - LOL)

Well, I told him that I don't know any black guy in Fort Worth that has a T-Rex, but that person should learn how to drive a T-Rex and should know better than to drive over speed bumps with any speed.

So, out of curiousity, does anyone know about a T-Rex in Fort Worth that got the front end bent up driving over a speed bump?

You would have to hit a very tall speed bump at a very high rate of speed to bend that tube frame upward. The problem is in hitting a curb with the front wheels. t\The frame upright that holds the lower A arm will not take a lot of abuse.
