Personally, I would stay away from any wheels on eBay for the T-Rex. Somewhere maybe on this forum is the wheel specs. I know that it is on the old .com forum. Bolt pattern diameter is important as well as the hub offset. Once you have this information, then you can go rim shopping. Most rims will not work on the T-Rex.
Some of us (including myself) have installed the HRE 540 series. You can get these chromed, polish, and/or powder coated in any color. The HRE's come in 17" for the front and 18" for the rear.
Once you get new rims, more and likely you will need new tires. You will need lower profile tires in order to maintain the overall diameter of your current set of tires. This is extremely important for fender clearance.
Another thing to keep in mind about tires is the rubber compound number. The lower the number, the softer the compound, and the better traction you will get. The downside is that the tire will not have as long tire life. I use 220's on the fronts and 280 on the rear.
I hope that you find all this information useful. _________________ 2007 T-Rex 1400R - BMW Laguna Seca Blue -Turbo Powered

Another thing to consider when getting larger rims for the front is that you need a lower profile tire. With only 18lbs of pressure in there, the tire crushes easily in a pothole or bump, hence you have a bent rim. I learned this from chicknfeet's experience on the weekend. I would stick with 16" on the front. Just my $.02... _________________ 2007 Blue T-Rex 1400R

Damn, I thought you had a source to straighten it out! I would have been more sympathetic.
For the record, I hit the same pothole as chicknfeet according to my wife and it did not damage the stock rim. The larger rims sure do look good though! _________________ 2007 Blue T-Rex 1400R
