well just got the my 2006 white t rex yesterday and my buddy that knows more about cars and motorcycle is telling me the clutch seems like it doesnt not engage into gear until the clutch is almost out. Is there a clutch cable we need to tighten for the clutch to engage much sooner? Thanks. Also it is nice to meet you and look forward to meeting you at the party.

There is no clutch cable, it is hydraulic, and it is normal for it to engage towards the end of the travel of the pedal. You can change the angle of the pedal a little by adjusting the push rod behind the pedal.

Has anyone made a backstop for the clutch pedal? If so, can you post up pictures? I am considering adding one to mine.

The clutch on my 06' was engaging at the very tip of the pedal as well. And now it completely gave out, so I cant ride now. Most people will tell you its a clutch going bad when it engages so late. But the experts on TRex's tell me otherwise. But since i felt it first hand: If you feel the REX throttle pedal racing up at 4k or 5k RPM do not drive it and get the clutch replaced fast. Thanx
