Never open something that you are not sure about. These sites could contain a virus or a worm that you don't know about. Two things could happen: (1) your computer becomes infested and it crashes (2) a worm or robot goes into your computer and steals all your passwords and/or identity theft. Neither situation good for you. Some of these worms, trojans, or viruses are so new that your anti-virus program might not catch it until it's to late. My professional advise is make sure that your anti-virus updates itself automatically daily. Be extremely cautious about anything out of Russia or countries surrounding Russia.

I have used a Program called Kaspersk I bought it from Best buy it updates its self every hour 24 hours a day. Never had a problem it catches every thing befor damage is done to your computer Very Happy

I am currently using "Trend Micro Internet Security". It is one of the best around. It watches for viruses, trogans, and worms plus it has a software firewall. I have personally been burned with Norton and AVG. My back up is "Norton Ghost". Cloning your hard drive with a second hard drive is cheap insurance. I have a router with built-in hardwire firewall protection. My computer is stealth on the Internet - you cannot ping me. My data is backed up 3 times daily and is always safe from any attack :wink:
