Are you aware of the result ?

The DOT of Canada, Transport Canada recall no 2014393 , also available in english.

This recall has been issued on sept 10th. Embarassed

Quick to denied, how fast to inform !!!!!!

For those of you that did not believe it could be a safety matter, well the DOT does believe giving the obligation to recall the t-rex with a 1400 motor.

Safety recall, make the T-REX safer. The fix, I will keep my opinion of it.

I dying to see you guys impression now.

Good for Canada DOT for doing the right thing. Is Campagna Motors be going to send a letter to all T-Rex 1400 owners?

Nhtsa has been notify. They will also have a safety recall. In Canada 154 units were sold between 2007 to 2013 . That doesn t include the few 16s that were sold between August to September .

I am sure Campagna will contact the owners . It s the law.

Remember the text they wrote , before the recall . Lol

How about all the units sold outside of Canada? Will Campagna Motors step up? Will they supply new parts? Will they pay any labor costs? It is safe to say that most T-Rex's are not within a reasonable distance to a T-Rex authorized dealer.

Will Campagna also replace the skid plate? Their design is basically a flat sheet of aluminum with a lot a flex. Wayne's design is extremely strong.

For the record, I am one of those T-Rex's where the oil drain plug got ripped off. I was driving about 35 MPH. Fortunately, no accident but a lot of oil was left on the street. Only damage was to the oil pan/plate to the bottom of the engine. I replaced the Campagna skip plate with Wayne's and modified the oil engine pan/plate by putting the oil drain hole in its side and sealing the bottom oil drain hole.

FYI: The skid plate is so strong, it will glide the whole bike over any street obstacle and leave the engine free from any "street" damage.

I have a friend wid an 07 he hit something in d road oil went everywhere and he hit d wall. Ins fixed but bike never d same keep posting info I have Wayne's skid plate

Transport Canada has identify... not Campagna. I could go futher to tell you Who identify the safety problem.

Please read previus post from Campagna. Study ????????? Sound familiar.

The vehicule was safe according to there last post on the subjet.
Now you can t sell it !!!!!!!!!! Shocked
