thursday I recieved my built trans gears from R@D motorsports. the gears are undercut and cyrotreated and Mark did a few mods to them. Friday my brother and myself pulled the trex motor apart and swapped out the bad gears for the built one.
The trex only had 1st and and Neutral. when it would shift into 2nd, the rear tire just locked up. We ended up pulling the small gear set out and found a broken C clip which was allowing the 2nd gear to slide into 2+4th hense locking up the trans.
just some pics of the progress. just need to order a clutch, full the motor with fluids and hopefully get it together sunday.
its finally coming together
