My condolences to the family. May I suggest that as "brother" of the T-Rex family that we all take up a collection to help this family in its hour of need. Even if you are not a T-Rex owner yet, please join us and lets show everybody where our true heart lies.
Wayne, would you be the central point man on this and gives us the procedure? Thx. _________________ 2007 T-Rex 1400R - BMW Laguna Seca Blue -Turbo Powered

Pulled him out the fire, but it was too late. Didn't have his seat belt on, dont know why the guy in the suv ran. He was a good guy and im going to miss him |

We called him pop. really cool dude. He owned a White 2009 model. No seatbelt plus he had a full windshield may have contributed to his death.
I'm only speculating because the windshield was cracked and he had massive head trauma. |

Turned out not to be such a good weekend after all. My condolences to Pops family and friends. From what I have been told he lost control on the bumpy roads of NY and ended up in oncoming traffic head on into the SUV. I will be in contact with Pops friends to see what we can do to help the family. _________________ X-treme-toyz.net

My condolences to Pop's Family. God Bless them all. Man,That really hits home. I know a few people that ride with him and will also be reraching out. I think a donation may be a good idea, espesially because he has 3 young children. Thanks for the heads up SexyRex. |

How old are the children? What work skills does POP's wife have? Let's think in terms of a scholarship fund for the children in addition to a donation. Every member of POP's family will face some type of financial hardship from this tradgic accident.
Anyone out there in the T-Rex family that has the skills to set up a scholarship foundation that will have investment growth? Can this foundation be a charitable income tax deduction? All help and advice would be appreciated.
This unfortunate event hits directly home with me. I lost my father when I was 14 and all my mother had was a 9th grade education. God bless my mother for providing 3 square meals a day, a warm roof over our heads, and clothes for school. Never asked my mother for financial help for my college education. I also grew up in an enviroment where neighbors helped neighbors. Not a bad value to learn and carry forward through out my life.
Again, I appeal to you all and reach out to help POP's family. Thank you for your kind generousity. _________________ 2007 T-Rex 1400R - BMW Laguna Seca Blue -Turbo Powered

NYC roads. Wow I was there this weekend also. Went into the city and drove around and went to sisters house. I can attest to the horrible road conditions in NYC and surrounding areas. I bottomed out a couple of times and it was scary. My condolences go out to the family also. I am in the same situation in 30's and have a family of three boys. When I showed my wife this story it is a pit in our stomachs and makes me want to serious think about the TREX and all the issues I have been having if I should keep it. |
