what was i suppose to be looking for to find where that noise was coming from on the engine?? the filter is there.. what else was it??

nope.. everything was intact.. filter was in and nuthing seems to be touched.. thought i would see reeds looking at me but the original setup was still there.. any more suggestions??

Is the noise more pronounced with the air box off? It sounds like it may be a valve train problem, broken, stuck, etc.

johnny.. you must consult with the customer first before replacing the engine... uuh the customer declines... Very Happy Very Happy if it was a marker lightbulb or a screw... or even some engine coolant in a dry radiator, then yes.. ha ha ha.. this engine's not air-cooled!!!!
