At the back of the instrument panel, does anyone know which COLOR wire controls the speedo and the tach? _________________ 2007 T-Rex 1400R - BMW Laguna Seca Blue -Turbo Powered

The color of the wire for the speed sens signal is BL/Y at pin 13 and ground BK/Y at pin 12. There are no wires for tach signal. This information and others are received from the ECU on the CAN BUS at pins 17 and 18 so it is not avalible there. I suppose you want to install an other gear position indicator or a cruise control? I hope this help. |

Phil,
Do you know what the difference is between the Bk/Y and the Pink wire from the speed sensor and what each does? _________________ 2007 T-Rex 1400R - BMW Laguna Seca Blue -Turbo Powered

What does the Yellow wire do at the Speed Sensor (VSS)? )(This wire chages from Yellow to Blue/Yellow). _________________ 2007 T-Rex 1400R - BMW Laguna Seca Blue -Turbo Powered
